Hi! I’m Paula. Thanks for stopping by. I’m a journalist with a passion for international relations, and I love exploring how this field intersects with lifestyle and culture.

I explore how the key tensions of our time — political, social, and cultural — shape the cities we inhabit and the stories we live by. I transform complex realities into accurate, compelling narratives and strategic communication that inform decisions, engage audiences, and shape public conversation.

I’m the founder of Lila Media, an independent media company celebrating the value of journalism, international affairs, and cultural storytelling, and the creator of Retahílas, a newsletter sharing curated insights on lifestyle, books, and ideas that inspire curiosity. In 2021, I also founded Sobretaula, one of the first independent newsletters in Catalan, and I recently self-published Val més enraonar d’altres coses. Memòries de la Teresa Bachs i Sitjes (2024), my first book, an effort to recover the oral and unofficial memory of my family.

I work with organizations, media, and experts to drive meaningful impact through research-driven storytelling, bring attention to the issues that matter, connect diverse perspectives, and craft narratives that inform, engage, and inspire action.
